About Des Adams
Des Adams has been involved in the construction Industry for over 20 years and in that time he has held many roles and covered both the commercial and domestic sector of the industry.
His backround includes shop fitting in the retail sector, overseeing the delivery of projects for clients on time and within budget and managing all aspects of the fit out. For this he also liaised with subcontractors and Shopping Centre Management on a daily basis. Des has also been heavily involved in managing local government projects ranging from €50k to €2.5 million. He dealt with senior architects, engineers, health and safety personnel and acted as contracts manager, including all subcontractor accounts, estimation and cost control. Des has also constructed many one-off houses and carried out numerous bespoke projects for private clients.In recent years, he has successfully managed two maintenance contracts both in excess of €2 million for the largest city council in the country.
Des has a large network of contacts and currently holds a Manageing Safety in Construction Diploma. He is an accredited Project Supervisor for construction stage certified by the construction industry federation.
